Please Note: This workshop will be held from 15th May - 19th May at MAP. Each participant will have to attend all days of the workshop if they purchase a single ticket.
In this workshop, German photographer Nicolaus Schmidt breaks down photographic concepts and introduces participants to working methods in the medium. The workshop will begin with a guided tour of his exhibition opening at the Goethe-Institut / Max Mueller Bhavan, and move on to MAP for the next few days, as participants practise these concepts and methods in the environs and neighbourhood of MAP. The workshop will culminate in the production of prints from these engagements and a sharing and showcase of the same.
This workshop is open to all, and no prior experience in photography is required. Participants will need a camera with an aperture setting, and phone cameras will not be sufficient.
The workshop is organised in collaboration with the Goethe-Institut / Max Mueller Bhavan, Bangalore.
